Activities in New Kingdom

As well as the usual mining and construction of vanilla Minecraft, New Kingdom features a number of activities that can be engaged in by players. Additional activities range from expansions to the base Minecraft mechanics (our custom overhaul of the fishing system for example) to complete action adventures that the player can immerse themselves in.

We're always considering new activities to add to the server and there are a number of unlisted features already in the development pipeline. If you have any ideas for exciting new features, drop us a message. Additionally, if you know how to programme in Java and fancy getting involved, let us know.

Details:

A challenging alternative to standard survival mode. Each player starts on a small island, floating in the void. You will need to strategically farm items and complete challenges in order to increase the amount of items available to build with.

A complete puzzle adventure campaign.

Where?

Inside the ancient Ziggurat of M'ur, in the desert just North-East of Kevtobia. Enter via the entrances on the 1st level outer balconies.

Details:

The Ziggurat of M'ur is the last resting place of the fallen Nunamnir, an ancient deity who was destroyed by his nemesis, Enki. Find all of the Map Fragments within the Ziggurat to compile a map that will lead you to Nunamnir's treasure, aided by Enki, whose spirit is trapped inside the Ziggurat.

A competitive River Rapids Time Trial

Where?

Inside the ancient Ziggurat of M'ur, in the desert just North-East of Kevtobia. The start of the course is inside the covered section at the very top of the Ziggurat.

Details:

The Ziggurat of M'ur is full of surprises. Nunamnir insisted upon building a secret water-course inside his temple in order to provide a quick escape route, should invaders manage to scale the outer walls and trap him at the top of the Ziggurat. In latter years the secret tunnels have been opened up and converted into a time trial course for enthusiastic sailors. Can you beat the server high score?

Minecraft Fishing System Replacement

Where?

Anywhere with water!

Details:

FishComplete overhauls and replaces the vanilla Minecraft fishing behaviour. Catch rare fish from over 200 unique species, level up your fishing skill to get bigger and better fish, earn rewards by taking part in competitions, catching large and unusual fish, completing collections and more. Equip your rod to start!

Maze Activity

Where?

Inside the crypt underneath the Cathedral in New Kingdom City. Find the entrance to the crypt near the East entrance of the cathedral.

Details:

A challenging maze with a twist. Find your way through these gloomy catacombs to be rewarded with the Philosopher's Stone.

A wave-defence minigame

Details:

Battle hoards of zombies in an exciting wave-defence style minigame. Battle alone or play with friends, complete all levels to win prizes. Collect emeralds to level up your weapons and armour. More details coming soon, watch this space!
